Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

🔒 Privacy First

PolyFly is designed with privacy at its core. We don't collect personal data, don't require sign-ups, and don't track you across the web. Your wallet is your identity — nothing more, nothing less.

1. What We Collect

PolyFly collects minimal data necessary to operate the platform: • Wallet address — Your public Hedera account ID, used to identify your trading activity and display your positions. • Transaction data — Records of your trades, market creations, and resolutions as processed by the Hedera network. • Usage analytics — Anonymous, aggregated data about page views and feature usage to improve the platform. All transaction data is inherently public on the Hedera blockchain. We do not create additional records beyond what exists on-chain.

2. What We Don't Collect

PolyFly does not collect, store, or process: • Email addresses • Real names or legal identities • Physical addresses or location data • Phone numbers • Government-issued identification • Biometric data • Social media profiles We have no KYC (Know Your Customer) process. Your wallet is your identity on PolyFly.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

PolyFly does not use tracking cookies. We use browser localStorage solely to: • Remember your wallet connection session (so you don't have to reconnect on every page load) • Store your UI preferences (theme, display settings) No data is shared with advertising networks or analytics platforms that use cookies for cross-site tracking.

4. Third-Party Services

PolyFly interacts with the following third-party services: • Hedera Hashgraph — All transactions are recorded on the public Hedera ledger. Transaction data is permanent and publicly accessible via explorers like HashScan. • WalletConnect / HashPack / Blade — Wallet connection providers that facilitate signing transactions. These services have their own privacy policies. • Hosting infrastructure — Standard web hosting services that may log IP addresses in server logs. These logs are retained for security purposes and automatically purged. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

On-chain data is permanent and immutable. Trades recorded on the Hedera blockchain cannot be deleted by anyone, including PolyFly. • localStorage data persists until you clear your browser data or disconnect your wallet. • Server logs (if any) are retained for a maximum of 90 days for security and debugging purposes. Since we collect minimal off-chain data, there is very little to retain or delete.

6. Your Rights

Because PolyFly collects minimal personal data, most data protection regulations have limited applicability. However: • You can disconnect your wallet at any time to stop associating your activity with our interface. • You can clear localStorage to remove all locally stored preferences. • On-chain transaction history cannot be modified or deleted, as this is a fundamental property of blockchain technology. • You may contact us to request information about any off-chain data associated with your wallet address.

7. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect the platform, including: • HTTPS encryption for all web traffic • Smart contract auditing and testing • No storage of private keys or sensitive wallet data on our servers However, no system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own wallet and private keys.

8. Children

PolyFly is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Since we do not collect personal identifying information, we cannot verify user ages.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
